Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that whether there is a big or small crowd at the Ricoh Arena, he wants the City support to get behind the team.

Writing in his programme notes for Coventry City's game against Plymouth Argyle yesterday, the City manager said:"We've got to continue to work as hard as we have been to make sure we get the result we want.

"But don't get me wrong - I'm delighted with the form we are enjoying and it's great to see the excitement around the Ricoh Arena because the club has been waiting for success a long time and the fans certainly deserve it.

"Our job is to make sure that continues. Of course, we want to see more people inside the Ricoh and I know that will only happen if we carry on as we have been since the turn of the year. But whether there is 14,000 or 24,000, all we ask is that you are right behind us.

"What ever happens now we have laid a strong platform for next season and if the players continue to work as hard as they have been then I will continue to feel very optimistic about the future."
