We'll Be In A More Stable Position In The Summer - Pressley

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that the club will be in a more stable position in the summer, which will allow them to recruit players on a permanent basis rather than just taking loans.

Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “We looked at the Sheffield United-Preston game on Tuesday and of the 36 stripped players there was only one on loan. They’re two teams up at the top of the table and that’s not a coincidence.

“It’s difficult when you’ve had the turnover we’ve had this year but we’ve had to go through an extremely challenging period when the priority was making sure this club survives.

“It’s a growing process and it’s taken longer than anybody would have liked which is why at times we have a hugely frustrated support.

“But in time we’ll get it right and come the summer I think we’ll be in a much more stable position to recruit and get our squad together.”
