We Showed Real Character - Thorn

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn felt his side did not do themselves justice in the first half at Burnley yesterday but he was pleased with the character shown by the players to get a point.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player after the 1-1 draw at Burnley, Thorn said: "To be honest I didn't think we did ourselves justice in the first half although early on we've had three or four really good attempts on goal and the 'keeper's made some great saves.

"We've scored from a corner which was not given but we've not been getting them decisions all season anyway so that was disappointing.

"I felt we had to change things a bit in the second half so we've made the three subs but then we go and get an injury.

“That being said though, it was a great header from Platty and I thought we showed real character and determination to see the game out after we went down to ten and that kind of character will see us in good stead because we have two massive home games which we will need to be at maximum for.

"I've said to the boys we want to win all of our last three games now."
