We Need To Go Into Games Physically and Mentally Strong - Clingan

Coventry City midfielder Sammy Clingan has said that City need to go into matches physically and mentally strong if they are to start winning again.

"Tuesday was a frustrating night. It's difficult to go into the dressing room having done so well and to have got nothing from it," Clingan said to Sky Blue Player at the club's weekly press conference.

"But it's what you do afterwards that matters. You have to take out the positives and take that into the next game against Leicester.

"Once we get back to doing what we do best we've got no doubt the results will improve.

"We just need to make sure we go into the games physically and mentally strong.

"I don't think there has been any team that has battered us in the games we've lost. It's always been by the odd goal. We played the likes of QPR and Forest and Swansea on Tuesday so we know we can play against teams like that and mix it with them which is a positive.

"We know what to do against teams that play three in the middle like Swansea did so we are well up for the game on Saturday and hopefully we can get the three points."
