We Must Get Away Points - Aidy

Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that the Sky Blues must pick up points away from home.

The Sky Blues have only picked up one point from their three away league matches this season but Boothroyd told Sky Blue Player: "If we're going to be successful this year we're going to have to be good on the road, we've got to be strong at home and we've got to make sure we pick up points along the road and we haven't picked enough up yet in the games we've had so far.

"But again, six games in, lessons learned and we've got to put them into practice now.

"We've had six games now, in all those six games we've had lots of real positives, we've had some comebacks, we've had some stirling defensive work, some terrific attacking play and now we've got to put it all together and be consistent and I thought in the second half against Swansea we gave ourselves a mountain to climb but we very nearly climbed it.

"I'm glad we've got a game coming up because clearly we've got the potential to be much, much better and the thing about playing as well as we did in the second half at Swansea is that we put in a very good 45 minutes, eradicate those two daft mistakes and we win the game 1-0.

"That is what the difference is between being in the top half of the table and being in the bottom half."
