We Have To Be At Our Best - Harrison

Coventry City Assistant Manager Steve Harrison has said that the Sky Blues have to be at their best if they are to beat Bristol City on Saturday.

"Bristol City are a good side and a settled side who have been up there chasing promotion, so Mr Johnson has done a great job there," said Harrison to the CT.

"We need to be at our best against them on Saturday and we aim to be that. We aim to be a lot more solid, whether we change the formation or not.

"We looked very solid at the start of the season. "We tried to play a different way and it worked against Ipswich and the lads did very well.

"Since that time we have not really picked up the intensity of the game but we have got four or five new players and they obviously need time to bed in, which is always a factor.

"We worked with a small squad of players in the pre-season and then the new lads came into the team from other clubs and there is an adrenaline rush and you have to be careful because their lives have turned around very quickly.

"They have got a new club, a new environment, new house, new methods of training and new mates, so there is all the kerfuffle of changing this, that and the other and it takes its toll, and I think we have just taken our second wind.

"That's not making excuses because we have been poor in the last couple of games and the players will admit that as well, so we need to get back to that solidity and hard-to-beat mode before we push on."
