Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that the club has made the biggest signing of the season in the deal to take the Sky Blues back to the Ricoh Arena.
Pressley said to the Coventry Telegraph's Aidan McCartney at the club's pre-game press conference: "There will be no imminent signings.
"Ideally, we are looking to bring in another defender but as you can imagine Mr Waggott has been rather busy but we have made the biggest signing of the summer - the Ricoh Arena.
"I have nothing but positive thoughts for Northampton Town Football Club and Sixfields.
"Hopefully we can get stability as a club and start growing and start moving forward.
"We've stripped the club back - this is a really exciting period."
