We Feed Off That Type Of Support - Charles-Cook

Coventry City goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook has said that the City players thrive off the City support who again were out in force at Crewe.

Officially, Crewe are saying that City had 2,292 in the ground but with the 600 tickets that went on sale at noon selling out very quick, a good number of others managed to blag their way into the areas for home supporters to see City win 5-0.

Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Charles-Cook, who made a couple of fine stops to record a clean sheet, said: "I've said it previously but the support has been incredible. They show up in huge numbers everywhere we go.

"Especially through the Christmas period, they don't just travel in large numbers, they really get behind the team.

"It makes a huge impact for us. We all feed off that type of support and if we can continue to get that, we could be in for a great season."
