Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that he is not paying too much attention to Marlon King who is expected to return to the Ricoh Arena with Birmngham City in front of a bumper crowd on Saturday.

“It’s all done and dusted and I have got a lot of other things to worry about than the way Marlon left,” said the City boss to the CT’s Andy Turner. “It’s what he chose to do and that’s football.

"We have missed his goals this season, that’s for sure, but we have got enough other things to worry about rather than any thoughts of personal vendettas with Marlon.

“I don’t want to pay too much attention to him.  "We all know him and know what he can do but it’s more important that we concentrate on what we’re doing.

"I don’t want people getting wrapped up in it because we have got to concentrate and focus on what we’re doing.

“I want the same standard of performance as Tuesday night with good concentration levels and the same commitment and effort.

“We have got to keep our home form going and try to improve our results away because there’s no doubt we will need to pick some points up away from home in the last 11 games. That’s something we have to do.

“If we can just pick up one I think it will set us off going and we’ll be all right. We just have to keep picking points up and you do that by showing a good attitude and work ethic.”
