Coventry City U18's put in an excellent first half performance to see off Norwich City.

It was action from the start at the Alan Higgs centre.

City took the lead after only 38 seconds thanks to a flick on by Ange Lourougnon which fell for Ashley Cain to thump home.

Norwich equalised in the 21st minute when Robert Revell arrived at the far post to head in a corner.

Brian Borrows side were back in front three minutes later when Matty West pushed a ball forward which was missed by the Norwich keeper and Ange Lourougnon stabbed in.

In the 27th minute,it was three when Man of the match David Burtoft slipped the ball inside for Matty West to stroke past the advancing keeper.

The action continued into the second half with Matty West being pulled down for a 56th minute. Ange Lourougnon took the kick and Steve Arnold made a tremendous save diving to his left.
Lourougnon was replaced straight after much to his disgust.

The Sky Blues kept up the pressure and coasted to a deserve victory.
