Two Goal Ward Up The Rankings

Coventry City's Elliott Ward was the top-scoring defender in this week's Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship.

Ward earned 39 points for his performance in the 5-1 win at Colchester, his two penalties helping edge the Sky Blues away from relegation danger.

It was his highest individual match score of the campaign and also the best score of any City defender this season.

Jay Tabb remains the best-ranked Coventry star, sitting in 68th overall with 425 points, Michael Doyle and Ward the other members of Chris Coleman's squad in the top 100 in 77th and 95th respectively.
