On a night where Wayne Rooney became the all time leading England goalscorer with fifty goals, the Manchester United player has still some way to go to catch up to the goalscoring numbers of two former Coventry City players.

Wayne Rooney currently stands twenty international goals behind former Coventry City forward Stern John who netted seventy times for Trinidad & Tobago in 115 appearances from 1995-2011.

The Manchester United forward is also seventeen international goals behind former City striker Robbie Keane who has scored sixty seven times for the Republic Of Ireland in 142 appearances.
