Turner Announces Desire For A Win At Preston

Coventry City defender Ben Turner is gunning for revenge against Preston North End on Saturday.

The centre half was livid like the Sky Blue support at Deepdale last season when his own goal was announced over Preston's tannoy as "Scoring his first goal for Preston - Ben Turner"

"I went to look for the announcer afterwards to see why he felt he had to be so disrespectful but they wouldn't show me where he was," said Turner to the CT.

"I was told he wasn't their full time pitch side announcer and was just standing in for someone who was ill, so he obviously didn't understand how to do a job in a professional enviroment.

"I think some of these guys do the PA at football and then at a nightclub or something which is a completely different enviroment. But I wanted to speak to him myself because I was obviously angry about it.

"You are going to score own goals playing centre back but you don't need someone being disrepectful about it over the tannoy so I would love to go there and win this season and it is a bit more motiivation to go there and do that because of what happened.
