Transfer Deadline Passes Quietly

A very quiet final day for transfers saw the five o'clock deadline pass with Leon McKenzie the only Coventry City player making the transfer news.

McKenzie has left Coventry for a season long deal at Division one Charlton Athletic.. Coventry had offered the player a short contract until the end of the year.

No new players have been drafted in to the Coventry City squad so the only option available to Chris Coleman will now be more loans.

'City had earlier been linked with Chris Killen and Hameur Bouazza, but nothing came of either rumour. Bouazza has signed for Blackpool.
