To Score Five At Home Was Most Important - Robins

Coventry City manager Mark Robins felt that it was important to give the City supporters some goals to cheer.

City's home form has not been as good as the away form and after City's thrashing of a poor Walsall side, the City boss told club journalist Kieran Crowley; “To score five goals at home in front of our supporters was the most important thing. They are hungry for success and to see their side win, which they haven’t seen enough of this season.

“The players responded to the crowd and you could see in their eyes that they were hungry to get the win as well. We have to come into each home game with that attitude and desire to get the three points.

“If we can produce that sort of performance here on a regular basis, then there will be more home wins."
