Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has refused to let Callum Wilson play for Tamworth FC in their FA Cup Third Round tie at Everton this afternoon.

Speaking to the CT about Wilson who is on loan to Marcus Law's side for a month, Thorn said: "Callum won't play. "It wasn't an easy decision and it's a shame for the lad because it would have been a great experience to play against a team like Everton.

"But while we sent him out to play games, we can't have him cup-tied because we don't know what is going to happen.

"We're light on numbers up front and if we progress we could face a situtation where we could need him ourselves. This club is my priority and that's how it's got to be in this case."
