Conor Thomas faces being out for four to five weeks after picking up ankle ligament damage in training.
Thomas is being reported by the CT as being the victim of a "clattering tackle by Gary Deegan" in training a week ago before the Irishman was off-loaded to Scottish side Hibernian.
Thorn refused to go into details but told the CT's Alan Poole: "It's a nasty injury and we are probably looking at Conor being out for four to five weeks."
