This Is Not Mission Impossible - Coleman

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman believes that beating Chelsea and making it through to Wembley for an FA Cup Semi-Final is not Mission Impossible.

City take on the Premier League side tomorrow at the Ricoh Arena and are the under-dogs but face a Chelsea side which has not shown its full potential for a while.

"Personally, I have always been the type that no matter what game I have played in I always fancied myself to do well, which is maybe a little bit of arrogance, but you need a little bit of that," said Coleman to the CT.

"And I always had a little bit of fear because I didn't want to lose, although not too much because that is unhealthy. bt the pressure is all on Chelsea isn't it?

"They are used to that because except when they play Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool in the Premier League they are used to it because they are always expected to beat the underdogs.

"The gap is a bit bigger because we are in the division below, but they went out to Barnsley last year and they will be aware of that. But the FA Cup being the FA Cup you never know.

"Of course it has all got to go right for us and all go wrong for Chelsea for us to get the result, but it not impossible and I can promise you it is not a game we are going into thinking, 'well, we have done well to get here, the pressure is off,' because we want to compete and cause an upset. But we know how hard it is going to be.

"We know no matter what team Chelsea play it will be the same formation. He may make one or two changes because they have got Juventus on Tuesday, which is the bigger game for them.

"He made changes against Portsmouth the other night when he took Florent Malouda out and brought Ricardo Quaresma in, so there was no weakening there.

"So we know we are going to be up against it. "Individually we will have our own battles and we are going to be stretched. Collectively, we need to get our shape right otherwise they will punish us."
