Coventry City Manager Chris Coleman had plenty of praise for the effort shown by his players in the 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle United.
Speaking to the club website, Coleman said: "The lads gave it all they had tonight and it was a definitely a step up from Sunday's performance.
"When you are in the situation we are the result is always the biggest thing though so of course we're disappointed but, in terms of trying to win the game, I didn't think there was a great deal more that we could have done.
"We know what we are capable of doing and we need to turn a corner and we haven't yet and that bend gets bigger and bigger but with the squad we've got we will get three points. It's just got to come soon."
