The Saturday Preview

Last updated : 28 March 2008 By Covsupport
A look at who is playing who on Saturday

FA AL Charlton Athletic v Coventry City U18's
Greg Rioch's face a tough game in South East London but will take heart from a battling performance against Millwall last time out.
Championship

Coventry City V Plymouth Argyle
Coventry City need a victory in this game, it is as simple as that. Had Freddie Eastwood been signed then Sky Blue hopes of a victory against a side sixth in the table may have been greater. Pinning your hopes on a 19 year old with no Football League or Premier League experience is a big gamble and Chris Coleman will be praying that City can get something out of this game and the massive game at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night to ease relegation worries.

Other Championship matches

Bristol City v Norwich City
This looks like a home win for The Robins who are a second in the table.

Burnley v Barnsley,
With Burnley safe in mid-table, The Tykes are not safe by any means and need a victory.

Cardiff v Southampton
The Saints march into Cardiff desperately needing a win after the 0-0 draw with City last week.

Charlton v Wolves (5.20pm)
Charlton's form has dipped in recent months and they are now one place below Wolves in ninth place. Both sides will go looking for a win.

Crystal Palace v Blackpool
Palace are just outside the play-off places and would welcome a win, whilst a win for the Seasiders would virtually see them safe.

Hull v Watford
Third v Fourth in the table and both sides on 65 points, this could be an intriguing tie which could go either way.

Ipswich v QPR
Ipswich are seventh in the table and if they beat QPR, could move into the play-off spots if City get something against Plymouth.

Leicester v Scunthorpe
What a game this is. A must win for both sides. Defeat for Scunthorpe and they are more or less relegated, whilst defeat for Leicester and results elsewhere will see them in the bottom three.

Preston v Sheff Utd
Both sides look safe after recent home wins, so this game looks like a draw.

Sheffield Wed v Stoke City
For Wednesday, this is a vital game but they face the current league leaders. An away win would certainly suit the Sky Blues.

West Brom v Colchester
Both sides need a win but Baggies will be heavy favourites to beat a Colchester side for whom defeat will amost certainly mean relegation.
