Coventry City manager Andy Thorn is convinced that the Sky Blues can have a bright future.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "Regardless if we are going down or not, I do not want us to come of the pitch on Saturday without feeling like we have gave it our all.

"We will keep fighting and hold our heads up high. It has been a really fine line between success and failure, and that was why I was very frustrated the other night. We are not that far away.

"The club needs stability and a few other things, and then we can be really successful. No doubt about it. We need to address the football side of things and that can only benefit all of us.

"We will be stronger from this season but we need to be pro-active as well going forward. I would like to be the person to bring the club forward of course.

"We are very close to doing that even with all the restrictions we have been working under so I think with a bit of extra work here and there, this club can have a bright future."
