Sofiane Released

Coventry City have released Youseff Sofiane. The Frenchman played made one substitute appearance for the Sky Blues (Palace home) plus four reserve team appearances. Sofiane blotted his copybook by turning up twenty three minutes after kick off in a reserve team game at Southampton and had not featured for the reserves since November.

Don Hutchison has been given a week's extension and will be available for the FA Cup game at Brighton on Saturday.

Meanwhile, former City loanee Eddie Johnson has turned down a move to Hull City and will stay on loan at Crewe whilst Sam Allardyce is unhappy at being linked with the Newcastle United job whilst Graeme Souness is still in charge.
