The top of blocks 14 & 15 will be closed for the Burnley game on Saturday, it was announced at a meeting of the Safety Advisory Group this afternoon.
The news comes as a renewed measure in order to ensure that supporters inside the Arena are seated during matches.
Standing will be permitted for the Bon Jovi gig in June with a capacity of 40,000 agreed.
It was also announced that the underpasses leading to the Arena should all be completed by June 1st.
