Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher has said that SISU’s investors are mainly institutional investors such as major pension funds.

Writing an article for the CT, Beckenham based Mr Fisher wrote: “Unlike a number of other clubs Coventry City is not owned by a single family or company. High levels of confidentiality exist between SISU and its investors, again something which is entirely normal in an investment manager/client relationship.

“I appreciate that supporters wish to know the identities of all the people and companies involved but all I can do is state that for the most part SISU’s investors are institutional investors such as major pension funds.

“This is not a blatant attempt to conceal anything or be faceless owners just that we all have to respect the confidentiality. Ultimately the all -important control of these funds and of the club resides with SISU Capital Limited and SISU has sought to put the right management in place to run the club as best as possible.

“SISU has raised and invested significant sums of money over the past four years for Coventry City.”
