The SISU Out campaign group have said that today is day one of their fight with SISU.

The group have issued the following statement:

"Today 12/01/15 is day 1 of our fight with sisu.

"As you can imagine we have been very busy , our emails and twitter accounts have been non stop this morning from fans up and down the country and even more media attention from tv and radio . We have spoken to various people from the media and they all respect our wishes to remain anonymous for now.

"We have had a call this morning from dan pallet a midlands today sports correspondent to discuss our protest and we spoke to him about our plans for tonight and also made it clear to him that this is only day 1 of our fight and there will be a lot more from us until we see change from the club.

"We also politely declined a live interview tonight with him as we know remaining anonymous is attracting more and more attention and interest from the media and that is exactly what we need .

"The media that have invited us for live interviews are still going to be covering our protest tonight no matter what so declining the interviews does not change that in the slightest but what it may do is give some of you fans the chance to be interviewed out side the ground tonight as part of there coverage . Today we also spoken at length with Dave Mapp the head of the Coventry football police who was very understanding of our protest and he has acted like the middle man, he has spoken to the club and then to spoken to ourselves.

"Dave has assured us that the club have confirmed to him that they will NOT be stopping fans from bringing in banners as long as they are non offensive !

"Sisu out banners and our 'Go' signage will also be fine !

"He also told us to let him know if any fan has any problems gaining access to the ground with banners etc so If anyone does have any issues getting there banners into the ground then let us know right away and we will contact Dave and get him to try and resolve the issue as he has assured us that him and his officers are more than happy with our protest and all non offensive signs and banners even 'sisu out' banners will be allowed into the ground to be displayed !

So our message to all you die hard sky blue fans is please do what you can to be there tonight !

"We have lots of media in place to cover it all tonight and to help put the spotlight right back on sisu which is what the vast majority of city fans have wanted for a long while !

"We have done all we can as a group , the foundations are set and the protest is ready to 'GO'

"We are ready are you ready ?

There will probably not be a better time or opportunity to get our message across than there is tonight with sky and other media outlets ready in place , so let's all do our bit and make the most of this opportunity!

"We have been given the thumbs up by the police and the media will be all set up ready and waiting for you fans !

"Now it is in your hands to make this as big and as loud and effective as you want it to be so let's all unite as 1 tonight and do ourselves proud !
Keep an eye out for midlands today at 6.45pm they will be talking about our protest live !

"We will end this with a massive massive thank you to everyone that has helped us every day since we started out less than 2 weeks ago .
Thank you for your patience and help , and thank you to each and every single one of you fans that make it tonight see you all later

"Thank you - sisu out group."
