Coventry City's owners SISU have failed in their bid to obtain the documents they wanted from Coventry City Council.

According to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert, The Judge ruled that SISU not to be given documents from individual councillors that they had requested but they would be allowed a copy of an ACL meeting from August 2012.

The Judge also ruled that a 110 page statement by SISU Boss Joy Seppala had come too late and an application to enter expert SISU  evidence which suggested that the deal to bail out Arena Coventry Limited was a bad one was also dismissed.

The costs for the case today in the High Court in London will be decided at the end of the Judicial Review in Birmingham on June 10th which would have been delayed has evidence from Joy Seppala been accepted.
