Coventry City's owners SISU have claimed they were victims of a secret plan during their High Court case to try and obtain documents from Coventry City Council that SISU feel are pertinent to the Judicial Review.

The High Court case in London was attended by Joy Seppala, head of SISU and saw three lawyers for the Council and five for SISU.

According to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert, The QC for SISU blamed the Higgs Charity and the court case against them for causing delays in this request for disclosure not being brought before the court earlier and said that he wants access to documents relating to former Council leaders John Mutton and George Duggins as SISU believe their views important in decision to approve ACL loan.

SISU who claimed in court that they were victims of a secret plan, want access to the notes taken by individual members of Coventry City Council when the meeting to approve the £14m loan to ACL was approved.
