Coventry City will be in a position to bring in some new signings very soon, Coventry City CEO Steve Waggott has said.
With the club having to rely on what income they can create as owners SISU want to the club to be self-sustaining, City will only be able to spend on players around 60% of what they can get in income.
But having sold 1200 season tickets and hopes of reaching a 6,000 target, the signs are that City will be able to bring in players sooner rather than later.
City boss Tony Mowbray is away on holiday but Steve Waggott said:“Tony Mowbray has been on holiday for a few days since his appointment but we have targets identified and will be ready to bring in the first new signings of the summer very soon.”
