Save Our City Want SISU Talks

Last updated : 19 January 2012 By Covsupport News Service

The Save Our City campaign group are calling for talks with Coventry City’s owners SISU Capital Ltd.

The group are now opting for talks after a meeting last Thursday at the Hen Lane Club, and spokesman Jan Mokrycki told the CT: “There was some heated debate among people who want to storm Sisu headquarters with pitchforks and burning torches – and those who want to talk to Sisu and see what plans they have.

“We have taken the view that we will go down the more conciliatory route and become a voice for the fans, because at the moment there isn’t one. We want to look at how we can work with the owners, whoever they may be.”

Save Our City are running coaches to the Championship game at Reading on February 11th. The cost is £10 per person as part of a “Back The Team bid.
