Coventry City defender Ryan Haynes is enjoying his season so far.
Haynes, yesterday, made some great runs for City U21's against Leeds United, and told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner after the 2-1 defeat: “I am enjoying my season and a bit of pressure, to be honest.
“Last season there were a few injuries and I was the only one to come in and I was playing. Now I have to work hard to earn it in every training session and every game and try to get my place back in the team.
“But I’m up for the challenge and when my chance comes I’ll be ready, 100 per cent.
“I have been waiting all season and I know that soon I’ll get my chance and prove to everyone what I can do.
“Chris has been doing really well and I know have to keep putting in the hard work and bide my time.
“I have spoken to the gaffer and says I need to work on my game defensively, so that’s what I have got to do to get back in the team and deal with the physicality.
“I have to be patient and then when I get my chance I have to take it.”
