Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that there is the temptation to throw in new signing Conor Chaplin or keep the team which drew at Gillingham last Saturday.

Chaplin signed yesterday from Portsmouth in a deal believed to be around the £300k mark on an initial loan which will be turned into a permanent move in January and today was having his first training session with his new team mates.

Speaking about whether he might play, Robins told the press conference this morning: "We have four strikers now to fill the spaces whether we play one two or three it depends on formation and games how they're doing in form.

"There's temptation to throw him straight in but there's also temptation to keep it how things are because we did well against Gillingham.

"It's a good game to come into during an exciting time and I'm looking on the training ground to see who is there trying to break into the team."

Talking about the visitors to the Ricoh Arena, Robins said: "Rochdale are a decent side, they have their own threats and they've changed the way they play and they mix things up to keep people guessing."
