Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that all he cares about is doing what is right for the club and hopes he has a long term future with the Sky Blues

Robins told the media over the weekend; “All I care about is doing what’s right for the club.

“If you look at us now compared to when I first walked through the door we are miles ahead of it.

“What we’ve done is stock up, make sure we have got good players.

“We have got assets in the building because we need to be self funding and sustaining.

“So we have got that and that’s the only way to run this football club at this moment in time.

“So whatever happens, there’s no pressure on me whatsoever. I don’t put any pressure on myself on that.

“At the end of the day I do the job because I love it and I will continue to do it because I love it, and I will not ever feel any pressure from anything at all.

“I said at the very start that it’s about the players and the football club and taking things forward until I can’t anymore.

“When that time is, who knows. I hope it’s a long time in the future.

“I have got a terrific group of players and it’s fantastic.

“I am really happy, really happy with the business. Everyone has worked hard and the club has backed me.

“But don’t forget, we’ve also brought in a fair few quid for players as well and got some free transfers.”
