Coventry City Academy Coach Lee Carsley said City U18’s 2-0 win at Cardiff City this lunch-time showed the team’s quality.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player after the victory, Carso said: "We have got a couple of lads in with the first team at the moment and we had to field a couple of Under 16s but the result against Cardiff just shows we've got quality coming through.
"Cardiff put out a strong side with three Under 19s and we suffered a 3-0 defeat to Norwich at the weekend but this team is used to winning and it shows great character from them that they came back and responded after the blow at the weekend."
