Pressley Looking For Two Loan Players

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley is looking at bringing in two loan players to bolster his squad.

Pressley is looking for a midfielder and central defender and told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “We’re probably looking for two players if we can get them just now.

“We’d like to bolster the midfield area but we’d also like to bring in another defender because we only had one defensive player on the bench on Saturday when Reda got injured, so we feel we need cover in that area. It might only be a 28-day loan just to give us some depth to the group.

“We also want a defensive midfielder but, again, just short term to see us through a period.

“I’ll be honest, I think we’ve got too many loan players for my liking just now but the situation is where we are and hopefully, in time, the loan players we feel are right for this club we can convert to more permanent deals.

"But the important thing is they have come in with the correct attitude.”
