Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he would prefer proper signings to loan signings.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole and James Rodger, Pressley said: "We have 36 outfield players for three teams - including U18s and U21s.
" We are at the bare bones but we didn't get in the signings I'd hoped for and we had to react to that.
"There's no doubt you get good loan players, but the balance has been too great on loan players. I've never been a big fan of loan players - I'd rather have proper signings."
