Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he is hopeful that the transfer embargo will be lifted in the close season and he will be able to bring in the targets he wants to.

"I am hopeful we will be given the opportunity to sign new players because that’s vital in moving the club forward, that we do recruit properly, " the City boss told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.

"We don’t obviously want a situation like last year where they missed out on targets because we didn’t manage to exit the embargo in time.

"That’s going to be very important and our supporters, over the course of the summer, will want to see a new Coventry."
