Jay Tabb had already received the club Player Of The Year award and that of the Premier Club and City Supporters Club before the game. He was due to complete a clean sweep when he collected the Coventry City Supporters Club Irish Branch after the game.
However, the Player Liasion Officer failed to tell the midfielder of this award and the Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Award on behalf of Leon Best which he was supposed to collect and Tabb left the ground leaving a good number of Irish Branch members disappointed.
City manager Chris Coleman was called in and duly accepted the trophies on the players behalfs.
