Coventry City new boy Kevin Kilbane has said that the City players would welcome more signings.

City boss Andy Thorn is understood to be interested in a number of players and Kilbane who had his first Coventry outing yesterday in the 8-0 victory at Hinckley United said to Sky Blue Player about the prospect of Thorn adding to the squad:  "It would definitely be a positive if we could do that. We saw a lot of capable and impressive youngsters on display against Hinckley.

"But young players can often have up and down moments in a season so if we can bring in more faces, it will definitely lessen the burden on them, and in turn help us develop their potential further.

"I don't think anyone in the dressing room would say no to seeing more people come through the doors and it would boost our chances of a good year going forward."
