Players Want Heath

Adrian Heath is the man the players want to manage the Sky Blues.

Said Andy Marshall who hopes to be back for City's home game against Cardiff City on Saturday to the CT: "The club have been going through a bit of a tough time in recent weeks but Adrian Heath has taken over and he has done well. "The lads are 100% behind him and all want him to get the job,and the best way we can show that is to try and get some results for him."

That is in stark contrast to the views of many supporters. Heath, seen by many as part of the problem rather than the solution is currently bottom of a poll for manager in the Coventry Telegraph and at Sunderland on Saturday, there was not one chorus of "Adrian Heath's Sky Blue Army" from the 600 strong support in the away end at the Stadium Of Light.

Walsall boss Richard Money who is out of contract at the end of the season appears a good bet however, bookies Bet365.com have suspended taking bets after an influx of money on Paul Ince.

Spokesman Steve Freeth “Ince has been the only one the punters have wanted to be with since the weekend and, if you believe money talks, then they look to be onto a winner. “We dipped our toes into the water again on Monday morning offering 11/8, but this was snapped up in minutes, so we had no other option but to suspend betting until the situation becomes clearer.”
