The Scot who is a Rangers fan joined City from Livingston at the end of last season but had an injury prone season with a number of hamstring injuries.
With Andy Whing released,the Scot is certainly part of Iain Dowie's plans for next season and with City still paying installments to Livingston,any bid will have to be substantially raised in order for McNamee to leave.
