Only An Hour For Eastwood

Freddy Eastwood, whose four year term at Coventry City appears at an end, played for an hour this afternoon for Southend United.

Eastwood played for an hour in Southend's 2-0 defeat at Bradford City in front of a 10, 859 gate before being replaced on the hour mark by Benyon.


Freddie Sears scored for Colchester United in their 1-1 draw with Hartlepool.


Former City youngster Craig Reid was a 65th minute substitute in Stevenage's 3-0 defeat at Tranmere Rovers.


Andy Morrell played the whole game and Robert Ogleby was a 67th minute substitute in Wrexham's 1-0 home defeat to Alfreton Town.


Former City loanee Dean Leacock was booked in Leyton Orient's 3-0 defeat to Notts County. Lee Hughes was a 61st minute substitute for the Meadow Lane based side who have also taken on former City Director Ken Sharp.
