On The Game

Pat from Tile Hill said: "The fans turned up, shame most of the team didn't . "It was the same score as at Wolves but the performances were miles apart. "I could see very little pattern to the play and there was only a short spell in the second half where we put anything together. "I also very disappointed the several players left the pitch without acknowledging the excellent City support."

Iain Dowie said to the club website: "We were very poor today and just have to put it down as a bad day at the office. "There was no tempo, imagination or desire about our play and the boys didn't look anywhere near like themselves today. "Although we pressed Plymouth better in the second-half, we didn't win enough second balls, our better passers of the ball didn't pass well and we made far too many unforced errors.

"We conceded a very soft goal where we didn't get a block in on the cross and then failed to track the runner. "We have to pick ourselves up because we have a very tough week ahead, starting with a very big game against the league leaders on Tuesday night."

Dowie is hoping to make two loan signings this week and could loan out a few players.
