Oi Dowie No!!

Iain Dowie will resign from Coventry City in the morning, Covsupport understands.

The City boss who replaced Micky Adams in February, is expected to say goodbye to his players and speak to Leicester City owner Milan Mandaric about their managerial position which is now vacant after Gary Megson's departure to Bolton Wanderers.

Dowie had been frustrated by the lack of a take-over and monies which tempted him to join City have never materialised.

His backroom staff are also expected to follow him to the Crisp Bowl.
After Micky Adams,Dowie's arrival was a breath of fresh air. He brought the players back together and worked with all areas of the club for the common good.

Although Covsupport are not happy about Dowie going to them at the wrong end of the M69, we wish him well and thank him for his help and support during his time as Coventry City manager.
