Officers from the West Midlands Police and the Northamptonshire Police force will be on duty along with those shadowing the Colchester fans for this afternoon's game between Coventry City and Colchester United, the police have confirmed.

With Keep City In Coventry having a family friendly picnic on Jimmy's Hill, the police have said that they will be in attendance to help with any issues around this fixture.

Anyone wishing to protest is advised that the Northamptonshire Safety Advisory Group have brought in regulations to stop any protests around the immediate confines of the stadiums i.e outside the turnstiles, ticket office etc, and whilst protests are not banned, they are restricted to car parks and the hill overlooking part of the stadium.
