Former Coventry City youngster Adam Walker feels that Nuneaton Town are heading for a place in the Conference.

Walker, who had eleven years at City coming through the club's ranks to make his first team debut versus Sheffield Wednesday in 2009, plays along side former City Reserve teamer and current Academy coach Mark Noon in the heart of Nuneaton's midfield and told the CT's Derek Brown:  “There’s no argument about, I reckon we’re going up.

“There’s a great togetherness about the squad, particularly over the past two months when results and performances have really picked up.

“Since we went to a 4-4-2 we’ve clicked and the league table doesn’t lie.

“Playing along side Noony is great. He’s experienced and never stops for the whole 90 minutes.

“We’ve forged a great partnership and feed off one another.

“Now as a team we need to keep pushing on and cement that play-off position as soon as possible.”
