No Supporter Games At Arena

Thanks to a Coventry City Council and Arena Coventry Limited decision, Coventry City supporters will not be allowed to play at the Arena in end of season matches.

Over the last two season, City supporters took part in around eighty end of season matches at Highfield Road.

This was a good income generator for the club and provided supporters with a chance to change in the dressing rooms and play on the hallowed turf.
As Coventry City FC are merely tenants of the Arena which was built with money from public resources, the club are powerless in this matter.

No official reason has been given by either the Council or A.C.L, despite the fact that City's league home campaign finishes on Sunday April 30th and apart from the local cup finals, the ground will be empty until the Bon Jovi gig on June 7th.
