The City boss whose side remain fourth from bottom after Saturday's games which saw Crewe leap out of the bottom three with a 3-1 win at Millwall told the CET: "The darkest hour of your life only lasts sixty minutes! "I would like to think that I have been successful in my short career at clubs where I have been given the opportunity to get on and do the job how I saw it.
"I said at the end of last season when we were moving into a new stadium that all we have got to do is to put out there a team worthy of that stadium and I think I should have been quoted on that from day one."
