Louis Carey will not be making a return journey to Coventry City on Saturday with Bristol City.

The defender, who was signed by Peter Reid but realised he had made a mistake in leaving Bristol City and did everything possible to get himself back to the West Country as soon as soon possible, fractured his skull in the Robins 2-0 win over Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

Carey, who has now made over 600 appearances for Bristol City is out for six weeks, following a clash of heads with Joe Garner.

Tickets for this game and every remaining home game are currently on sale at the Ticket Office at the Ricoh Arena, City Central, via the club website and via the telephone.
