No Big Deals For Quartet

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he will not plunge the club into debt to offer Keiren Westwood, Scott Dann, Danny Fox and Aron Gunnarsson new lengthy contracts to keep them at the Ricoh Arena and keep other clubs from showing interest.

"Aron has been linked with this and that club in the Premier League but he has said all the right things, that he wants to stay here and sign a new contract, and that's what will happen," said Chris Coleman to the CT.

"Bearing in mind he and Keiren have only been here since the summer, Danny Fox and Scott Dann signed six months earlier, and they have all got good, long contracts and they are not far into them, but the club recognises they deserve it and the players know that.

"They know what type of budget and pay structure we have got and we are not going to go back to where we were before giving out silly contracts because that is just going round in a circle.

"But these players have done very well and will be dealt with at the end of the season."
