Coventry City boss Andy Thorn said that he was praying for a chance to fall for Cody McDonald to prove what he could do.
Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, Thorn said: "We stuck to our game plan and stuck to our principles and I thought Cody’s finish was worthy of winning most games.
"It was a welcome time to score because I was getting close to wrestling with the fourth official.
"But it was nice to get that and he’s done that when he has come on for us.
"He went on at Watford and had a couple of chances, and he had one just before he scored when the keeper got back and saved it.
"So I was just praying that one would fall to him because he can finish so we’ve missed him and it’s nice to have him back."
